Pharmacy Residency Programs

PGY1 / PGY2 Health System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership with Masters 

This 24-month program combines a PGY1 Pharmacy/PGY2 Health System Pharmacy Administration from CPS with a Masters of Science degree in Health System Pharmacy Administration from The Ohio State University.

The resident will also have the opportunity to complete a teaching certificate through The Ohio State University. Program graduates will be prepared to assume director-level positions within the acute care health system environment.

PGY1 / PGY2 Specialty Pharmacy Administration and Leadership with Masters

Over the course of the initial 12 months, the resident will complete the same learning experiences noted in the PGY1 Specialty Pharmacy Residency program.

In this 24-month program, the resident will also complete the Master's Program for Pharmacy Administration and Leadership through The Ohio State University.

PGY2 Psychiatric Pharmacy Residency

Previously known as the Western Missouri Psychiatric Pharmacy Residency Program, the PGY2 psychiatric pharmacy program at the Center for Behavioral Medicine has been in existence since 1980 and has over 50 graduates.

The program is in affiliation with Northwest Missouri Psychiatric Rehabilitation Center, the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) School of Pharmacy, and CPS. Residents also rotate through University Health and a variety of elective rotations, in order to gain proficiency in a variety of disease states and settings.

PGY2 Psychiatric Pharmacy Residency Program 

Fulton State Hospital (FSH) sponsors an ASHP-accredited, multimodal, 1-year PGY2 Psychiatric Residency Program serving a diverse population with complex psychopathology. 

The FSH PGY2 Psychiatric Residency Program offers a variety of clinical and didactic opportunities to supplement your current training, provide a solid foundation for work in a variety of settings, and develop specialized skills.
