USP 797: A Review of the Final Revisions

Thursday, November 3, 2022 • 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM EDT

After feedback from stakeholders, USP is scheduled to publish their final revisions to chapters 797 and 795 on November 1st, 2022.

CPS invites you to meet with our Compliance and Regulatory Services pharmacist specialists as they review these highly anticipated compounding standards, with an emphasis on 797 and sterile compounding. These important standards will be a focus of CMS-accrediting organizations and state boards of pharmacy.

CPS manages hospital pharmacies across the country and is charged with ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards, including those related to sterile compounding.

During this webinar, attendees will learn about:

  • USP 797 standards in this final revision and how they have changed since the last version was published
  • Chapter highlights related to training and education, physical plant and equipment, and environmental monitoring
  • Strategies for compliance with both USP 797 and 800 when they become enforceable

Hospital and health system pharmacy professionals, infection prevention and quality specialists, and administrators will all benefit from this review. Please join us as CPS discusses the updates that can impact your pharmacy and hospital operations and regulatory compliance.
