Our Leadership

As CEO, Frank is responsible for the overall leadership and management of CPS. He is a seasoned healthcare executive with 35 years of leadership experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, marketing, supply chain, retail, merchandising, distribution, sales, and managed care.

Frank joined CPS from Silvergate Pharmaceuticals, Inc., where he was President and Chief Executive Officer. He also served as Executive Vice President for Cardinal Health and Vice President of Pharmacy at Wal-Mart. He has received numerous industry awards, including EY Entrepreneur of the Year, Sam M. Walton Entrepreneurial Hero Award, REX Chain Drug Executive of the Year, and CDR “Who Made a Difference in the Industry.” Frank is a graduate of Northeast Louisiana University and is a registered Pharmacist.

Tony is responsible for the direction of the human resources organization, training and development, the management of recruiting initiatives, as well as leading the culture and overall employment experience. His primary focus is to drive the talent agenda to achieve organizational goals as an employer of choice in the healthcare industry. Prior to joining CPS, Tony served as Vice President of Human Resources for Quantum Health. He has also served as Director of Human Resources for Express, Inc. Store Operations division.

Tony holds his master’s degree in labor and human resources management from the Max M. Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University. He earned his bachelor's degree in psychology at Kenyon College.

Leanne Ebert Murphy is Executive Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary for CPS, responsible for all legal matters for the company.

Leanne has more than 25 years of legal experience and began her career at Sidley Austin LLC in Chicago, handling mergers and acquisitions, securities, and corporate law matters. She held senior-level legal positions at Fortune 50 corporations, including Walmart Inc. and Walgreen Co., where she managed and was responsible for strategic corporate transactions, as well as other legal matters for those companies. She has also served on various service-oriented non-profit boards and committees of professional legal associations.

Leanne is a graduate of The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, earned a certificate in International Studies from the McGeorge School of Law, where she studied in London, England, and obtained her bachelor of science degree in Finance from Northern Illinois University.

Mike is an experienced executive with proven performance in the hospital and healthcare industry. He serves as President and Chief Operating Officer for CPS and previously was President of the PSI Division.

Prior to joining CPS, Mike served as President of Pharmacy Systems, Inc. He was responsible for all aspects of company operations in all service lines. He led the startup and design of two additional healthcare services lines that are subsidiary companies of Pharmacy Systems, Inc. and are focused on healthcare supply chain and rehabilitation services. Michael earned his Economics degree from Capital University and his M.B.A from Indiana Wesleyan University.

Michelle Kinneer is an experienced risk and corporate compliance professional who identifies areas of vulnerabilities and potential non-compliance through an enterprise-wide lens while guiding organizations through the development and execution of strategic actions to correct and minimize those risks.  She has served in the healthcare industry for over twenty-five years.  Michelle's vast experience includes providing care at the bedside to senior executive roles.  Her responsibilities have included the day-to-day management of compliance, risk, and patient safety programs.  

Michelle is a graduate of Piedmont International University, earning a Ph.D. in Leadership with a specialty in Organizational Management.  She earned a Juris Doctorate from Southern Illinois University.  In addition, her nursing degrees are from the University of South Alabama and Southeast Missouri State University.  She holds the designations of Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC), Certified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CHPC), Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM), and Nurse Executive Board Certified (NE-BC).    

Karl is an experienced healthcare leader with more than three decades of experience in healthcare operations, technology, and overall broad systems implementations. As Chief Information Officer, he oversees technology, infrastructure, and systems at CPS. Prior to joining CPS, Karl served Walmart Inc. for more than 30 years, including nine years in progressive pharmacy operations positions and 22 years as a member of the Executive Leadership team in Walmart’s Technology Division. His technology experience includes broad global roles in pharmacy, health and wellness, store applications, logistics and transportation systems, IT operations, corporate systems, and emerging technologies, such as blockchain.

Karl has a passion for aggressively supporting healthcare operations with technology to differentiate capabilities in superior patient quality care while reducing overall healthcare costs. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Tennessee Center for Health Sciences and his Master’s in Health Administration from Ohio University. He holds a Healthcare Security certificate Healthcare Information Security and Privacy Practitioner (HCISPP).

Keith oversees all operational, sales, and P&L responsibilities for CPS’ specialty pharmacy solutions, including TherigySTM. He has over three decades of executive experience in retail, specialty, mail order, hospital pharmacy, and pharmacy benefits management. He is a graduate of the Wharton School of Business, Executive Management Program for Leaders, and earned his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Kansas.

Nicole Frederickson is responsible for the commercial strategy for the company. Nicole has nearly 25 years of healthcare experience in pharmaceuticals, payer/PBMs, medical products, services, and consulting. Her commercial leadership experience spans across sales, marketing, market access, commercial analytics and consulting ranging from growing and scaling early-stage companies to large corporations such as Abbott, AbbVie, and Cardinal Health. Nicole received an MBA from Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management, and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Georgia.

Rod Recor drives all brand, marketing and communications activities across CPS. He has over 25 years of healthcare management experience in the payer and provider industries. Prior to joining CPS, Rod held management roles with several national payers in product development and marketing. He began his career as a consultant with Arthur Andersen in their healthcare practice. Rod graduated from Yale University and holds an M.B.A. in Health Systems Management from the University of Connecticut.

Brandon Newman is General Manager and Chief Operating Officer for CPS specialty pharmacy solutions. He is responsible for delivering outstanding service to our partner health systems and their patients by ensuring best-in-class clinical results, patient satisfaction, operational effectiveness, and financial performance.

Prior to CPS, Brandon served as the Program Director of Trade Relations and Market Access for the Vanderbilt Specialty Pharmacy (VSP) where he collaborated with payers and manufacturers to gain access to limited distribution medications and preferred network agreements. He began his specialty pharmacy career at Nova Factor, Inc. and remained through the Accredo, Medco, and Express Scripts acquisitions.

He is currently serving as Chairman of the Specialty Pharmacy Certification Board (SPCB). He is also a Board Member of the National Association of Specialty Pharmacy (NASP).

Brandon received his Bachelor of Science in Biology and Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Tennessee, and his Master of Management in Health Care from Vanderbilt Owen Graduate School of Management.

Sumant is a proven healthcare technology leader, with over 20 years of experience driving growth and scaling businesses through innovative data solutions. As President of CPS Data Solutions, Sumant is responsible for introducing multiple breakthrough solutions to the market, resulting in improved financial and clinical outcomes for clients.

Throughout his career, Sumant has been particularly focused on startups, leveraging his leadership skills to build and scale organizations to commercial success. He has held leadership roles at a number of healthcare data and analytics companies, including Abacus Insights, Cotiviti, SCIO Health Analytics, and Hewlett Packard.

Sumant holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, specializing in Systems and Marketing, as well as a background in Computer Science.
